My approach

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and you are the expert of your own life. Stepping into a therapy space can feel overwhelming, but together, we can explore your needs and build a deeper understanding of yourself. I am passionate about empowering clients to build meaningful, fulfilling, and healthy lives. Past experiences can sometimes affect the present moment and disrupt our nervous systems. Together, we can learn to regulate these responses, build self-trust, and reconnect with the here and now.

I specialize in trauma-informed care, supporting clients in finding safety within themselves before creating space to process traumatic experiences. I utilize techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy. These approaches have helped clients rebuild trust in themselves and understand how past traumas have shaped their lives and relationships. I also incorporate a body-based approach to healing. By tuning into the body and noticing sensations like tension or discomfort, we can learn to regulate these feelings and uncover the reasons behind them.

If you are ready to integrate past experiences and cultivate a deeper connection between your mind, body, and spirit, I invite you to embark on this journey alongside me.

My Background

I was born and raised in Denver, CO and hold a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health from the University of Colorado, Denver where I learned multicultural approaches in supporting my clients. I first began working in the mental health field in 2018, where I supported youth coping with difficult home-lives. From this experience I learned the importance of having a support system at a young age and the mental challenges of navigating hardships on your own. This furthered my passion in wanting to help others feel less alone and more empowered. For the past two years I have worked solely with trauma survivors and have learned how reducing shame and supporting clients in regulating their nervous system can lead to phenomenal transformations in their lives. I also teach yoga in the community and believe it helps keeps me balanced and happy.
